This is an amazing couple months of concerts around central Oklahoma. Lucinda’s last show at Cains was fantastic.

I measure all lu’s other shows I’ve attended to that show.

That was one of the best concerts of my life.

I believe “honeybee” was first performed live at that Cains show.

Wow, the shows page has really filled up again for the 2nd leg of Blessed 2011.
    Hope the sell outs continue.

Tom O, a small glitch for April 22nd.
Listed as Boulder, CO but the link correctly goes to the Brown Theatre in Louiseville, KY

Can you please make sure Lucinda packs a cowboy hat or two for this next leg.

An example hat photo courtesy of Butch Norton ( from the SOW at the El Rey 9/10/07 )

Many thanks and enjoy your time off until April 21st.

I LOVE that photo. So cool. I don’t believe I have ever seen Lu do that before.

Well, TM strikes again. My Indianapolis ticket arrived in the mail. A 40% mark up with fees and such.

    Ticket : $30
    Facility Charge: $2.00
    Convenience Charge: $6.00
    Order Processing $4.15
    Total: $42.15

I’m grateful Lu is still touring, and I know the effort put in trying to play non TM venues. It just can’t be avoided at times, but nonetheless it’s frustrating just the same. I obviously will pay it to see an artist I follow as an ardent fan, but for those artists I’m on the fence about seeing live, it’s a deal breaker for me.

My Cincinnati ticket had less of a mark up but I purchased another for one of the horsemen (he was on the road (warrior), so we essentially split some of the cost.

    Ticket(s): $50
    Convenience Charge: $15.70
    Order Processing: $4.05
    Total: $69.75

Add Chicago to the May shows. Soon to be announced according to Lu’s FB page.

” The Chicago shows will be announced very soon -two separate shows Sat. 5/21 and Sun. 5/22″

“The Sat. show will be a rockin show while the Sun. show will be an intimate night of ballads, blues and more.”

Good grief, I wonder how much more my husband will tolerate. I want to go to (one) of these shows.

We have finally finished the last week of the May run
    May 16 -Omaha
    May 17 -Fargo
    May 18 -Rochester (Minn)
    May 20 -Madison
    May 21 -Chicago
    May 22 -Chicago

The two Chicago shows are going to be two separate shows -the first night, Sat. the 21st will be a rockin’ show, and the next night will be an intimate night of ballads, blues etc. We haven’t confirmed it yet but the second night might be seated. Either way they should be great shows.
