The Facebook post says that Louisville is on 4/22 (instead of the above listed 4/23). Does that mean Covington is actually on 4/23, and they were just reversed? Thanks!!! 🙂

No… I meant stroking as in having a stroke. 😉 That term was coined by a Mellenhead friend of mine, on a train from Harrisburg to NYC. The train was late, her ride was impatiently waiting for her as they were running late getting to a JM show, and the train almost passed by her stop, so she called and told our friend she was absolutely “stroking” when she thought the train had missed her stop.

OK I finally got through to KY Center ticket office. The person I spoke with said that it’s a typo and the presale tickets are on sale Wednesday, March 16th, not today. Hope this helps someone else.

Oh, good to know! I just called Madison Theater in Covington. Lu’s show is Saturday, April 23 and tickets go on sale on Friday 3/18. $25

I did call him yesterday while he was on the air, after he played a Vic Chesnut tune. 😀 I was quizzing him, asking him if he knew Lu had written “Seeing Black,” relaying the story of Vic’s untimely death. He didn’t know the backstory on “Seeing Black”. I asked him if he was interested in seeing Lu when she comes to Cincy and he didn’t know she was making a Cincy stop. 😆 HOWEVER, he did tell me he was headed to South by Southwest and he was going to try to catch her in Austin. He wasn’t on the air today, so he must be Austin bound…

My Canadian calendar says Saturday is April 23. 😆lwj
This mixup is a good thing for me. Easier to make two shows with a break in between, especially with it being spring break.
