Awesome – My Wife is a Ford employee, she will be thrilled that Neil is making an electric Lincoln. I have a Hybrid Ford Escape that runs on electric half the time around the city. I buy gasoline about once a month now.

Lefty – Do you know if there are any talks about Neil touring any time soon? I saw him and CSN in Columbus a few years ago, and they were great. I also saw him and Lucinda at the same outdoor theater (Polaris) a few years before that and the both were great.

Tony’s got you covered, stevarino. If you can’t make it to see Neil, go see Cincinnati’s very own Heartless Bastards (though I do believe that Erika has relocated to Austin).

Tony: I expect a full review of your Neil experience in October (please & thank you)! 8)

If you’ve been holding your breath for Neil Young’s Archives, well, you’re probably dead by now. The eight-CD, double-DVD behemoth was originally supposed to hit way back in 2007 and then pushed back to this fall. Well, guess what, it’s been delayed again.

According to several news reports, the set has been once again held up due to production issues and likely won’t see the light of day until early next year. The original press release touted Archives as an interactive and chronological overview of Young’s career, featuring “music, movies, videos, personal archives, memorabilia, photographs, letters, handwritten manuscripts, and more.” Young is working with Sun Microsystems and Reprise/Warner on this release, which is to cover his work form 1963-1972 in the first volume.

However, to cheer you up a bit, Bad News Beat reports that Sugar Mountain, “a 22-track set recorded in November 1968 in Ann Arbor, Michigan,” will supposedly be released November 28. No word, though, if Young plans to stick to this date.

Great stuff. Thx for the link. In typical Neil fashion, he probably won’t let anyone outside of the UK ever see it.

OK well someone has already posted an AVI of last night’s Don’t Be Denied and I just watched it. It’s tremendous. Looks like they got Neil to sit down and do a recent interview and he must have given them some home movies; they show his house in Winnepeg and in Topanga Canyon when he lived there. Gleat show and great music although it’s only an hour long.

I wonder, tony, if Neil’s been to Bob’s old house in Hibbing, MN?

Has Neil mailed you your refund check for the canceled show? 😡
