I can only fill in the upcoming Friday and Saturday blanks. Might someone start us off with some Tuesday data? Tom, can we get an Ann Arbor Ark report X 2 (not that you don’t have other things to do LOL)?

I found a tweet mentioning Lucinda paid her respects tonight (Wednesday) to Merle Haggard by playing “If We Make It Through December.”

a good find, Laf. We know that Lu is childless. I wish the reviewer had mentioned Butch and Stuart (and David) by name. And “Magnolia” in the list, ah……….
Remarks from Tom and the setlists:
Minneapolis is always a special place for us to go with so many family and friends -and of course it’s place where we received our nuptials, so there is much history there. This was the third time Lucinda has played a series of shows at the Dakota. The first time was solo, the second time was duo and this time was with the band, which was a little more challenging. It’s a great room but the configuration of it, with the back wall being so close to the stage presents some sound issues if it gets too loud. On night 1 I could sense that everyone was holding back just a little -just kind of feeling things out. As a result the ballads were very strong -especially Bus To Baton Rouge. It still ended up being a very solid kickoff night. Night 2 was Lucinda’s 5th show in 6 nights and I knew she was a little fatigued but she just continues to amaze with her stamina and fortitude. When you get about four weeks into a tour, it always seems to be the week that everyone starts to feel it, but once you get thru it -it’s like getting over the hump. Although she can’t played it for three years, Lucinda played If We Make It Thru Dec. as a tribute to Merle Haggard
After a well earned night off Lu and then were completely recharged and the audiences were a lot more energized also -but it was a Fri and Sat, which always helps, so it made for two very different shows than the first two. Night 3 kicked off with old favorite I Just Want To See You So Bad, and it’s feeling great as an opener. Fruits Of Labor and Cross To Bear in the encore were real highlights. Temporary Nature, Jackson and a great set ending version of Blessed were among the highlights of Night 4.
55 different songs in four nights and another great week at the Dakota.
