    Thanks Lefty, once again a great article, the part anout the length of Miller`s suffering especially touched a nerve, as my father had a garage/workshop and spent all his time in there making and fixing things, sadly he died of cancer one October, but for the last six months he was unable to work in his garage and I always said that really he died in March/April, just so sad to see people slipping slowly away like that.

    So sorry to hear that, my thoughts are with you and yours at this difficult time, stay strong, sadly although you know it is coming it is still very hard when the inevitable happens, I tried to console myself by remembering that he had a good and rewarding life, but mostly by knowing that he was at last free of pain and suffering. All you can do is make that landing as good and comfortable as you possibly can, best wishes from us all.

    A Memorial is planned for Miller Williams on April 26, 2015 at the Fayetteville Public Library.
