    I read on a blog a few days ago, that Lucinda got onstage with Susan Marshall and sang The Beatles “Don’t Let Me Down”

    Thanks to Tim for the link to the blog–sounds like Parker and the blogger (two different people I guess) had a great time of it. Sometimes I think there’s a tendency here to boast about aftershow access; I know I have probably been guilty of it myself, though I try to avoid same. At the same time, more power to those who get to encounter Lucinda up close and personal–it’s hard to begrudge anyone that. My “rough trade” comment still holds for some of the folks around me at Minglewood, but many others were true fans of course: didn’t mean to imply otherwise. And yes, Minglewood has about the most “ample” bathrooms of any venue I’ve been in–great hope for midtown Memphis there.
