Found Mary’s cover of Lu’s song from away back.-A weekly TV Series called “The Texas Connection” which ran from 1989 to 1993
Before I link to the video, here is a quote of Ray’s from this Forum Oct. 7, 2007 from Lu’s appearance in the 5 night stand NYC-Town Hall to compare such a great tune.

But that night, in the audience, I felt that particular “false start” made the concert more interesting, more intimate, sweeter, in a way. I think she handled it deftly — and charmed everyone. It was funny when she kept strumming and very softly said, “I’m starting over….It’s the wrong key … it’s too high.” She was totally disarming when she said, “I’ve blown my entrance!” You can hear how the audience is with her the whole time, clapping, laughing. And then when she re-starts, everybody is clapping along in time with the song. And she does the song beautifully. It was a lovely moment. I’ll take uneven moments like that any day”

Hey Tonyg, you are absolutely correct about the “wrong key” false start.
El Rey Sep.10/07 but it was for the song “Like A Rose”.
After singing for about 2 1/2 minutes she stopped and (exclaimed Quote from my CD copy) ” I’m such a F****** compulsive perfectionist.”
Then the re-start.Must have been a great night as usual.
