Just a personal observation I had this week…

Am I the only person who finds some charm and character in the old style theater marquee where the individual letters are placed by the man on the ground with the pole? I’ll take that venue look anytime to the new bright flashing light, LED technology that is becoming so common today. So cold and sterile looking.

Am I showing my age? If you agree with me, you may be showing yours as well!

As someone your junior Randy, I too appreciate the marquees. In Bloomington Lu’s 8 p.m. show shared marquee space with the 11:15 a.m. “Elevate Church” event. Hopefully, the photo I sent Tom will make an appearance when his show comments do.

I, too, love the vintage charm of old style marquees over the cold, LED flashing light display.

    Signed,

On the age scale, perhaps I’m in the middle?

Ha: I wouldn’t be too sure of that, my Ohio friend.
