OKC isn’t far from TX. Come up and see us. I didn’t buy Barry Manilow, Bruce Springsteen, DMB or James Taylor, etc tix because I know that someone that I like more could come along … Lu … or NY & POTR would be a nice surprise, too.

I’ve see Lu play in tiny bars, and I’ve seen her play big theaters like the Beacon.
But Ryman Auditorium, formerly the Union Gospel Tabernacle, host to legends from Caruso to Cash (and to continue the alliteration, Cline to the Carter Family), home of the Grand Ol’ Opry… this would be a great place to see our favorite artist play.
I counted 33 dates on this leg of the tour, without counting the Ryman, which is pretty amazing. Not that I can count to 33, but amazing that there are so many dates. I trust people are prepared to provide full reporting at all shows. 😀

I’m officially disappointed – all psyched to make the 9 hour drive to Philly for Wednesday’s show at World Cafe AND…my husband was just told he’s needed in New York on business.
So, I’m now going to the Nelsonville show. 🙂

Happily, Ticketmaster and Lu’s Facebook page note that there will be a fanclub presale on Weds, Mar 9th at 10am, for the May 8th show at the storied Ryman (with Amos Lee!!!). THE PASSWORD IS HIGHWAY20. My fingers will be poised over my keyboard at 10am Central tomorrow!

I was so bummed about missing the Philly show tomorrow for 3 reasons. Lucinda, World Cafe (I’ve always wanted to see a show there), and I had high hopes Amos would be dropping in for a song or two.
Lu and Amos together again will be the highlight of my spring.

I’m now nixing the Nelsonville show and opting for this one!
