The gentleman that procured this set list allowed a few of us to take pictures.

Y’know…Mrs. Lefty & I were IN NASHVILLE, Aug 30-Sep 2, for some R&R. That’ll learn me for not staying on top of things. 😳 But, we did enjoy a night at the Opry, plus visits to the Johnny Cash Museum & the CMHOF. Excellent “Nashville Cats” & “Sam Phillips” exhibits at the Hall — could have spent easily a whole day with those two — highly recommended! 8)

Thanks, Lafayette, though the list is wildly inaccurate, “Jackson” and “Sweet” being properly in the Lu column and “When I Look at the World” miswritten. But now I remember the Van Zandt and J Cash covers, which were wonderful at end.

The list is a hodge podge, its sequence is difficult to decipher, unless one was there. I’m still in awe of the show we witnessed.

Wowza, Lefty, a day late and a dollar short, I hate when that happens. It sounds like your trip with Mrs. Lefty was fantastic. I love Nashville. I never had time to tour any of the exhibits. It was a very quick trip for me.

Let me “decipher” the setlist. The first 6 songs were locked in starting with Emmy (Red Dirt Girl) and Lu (Sweet Old World) and then Rosanne. After that each of them had a list of songs that they were going to do -staying in the same order of Emmy, Lu and Rosanne but they were able to move the songs around to fit with a song that was played before them. For instance, after Lu played Ghosts Of Highway 20, Rosanne decided to play a song, Girl From The North Country, that wasn’t on her master list. After the first 6 songs, which they rehearsed with each other, they were trying to allow for some spontaneity, which did happen.

As always, thanks, Tom, for the insight. 8)
