Lucinda’s Three Americana Award Nominations

So what’s the plan if Lucinda wins one or more of the Americana awards for which she’s nominated? I envision a dial-in acceptance speech from, say, Arhus Denmark–considering that the ceremony will be November 1 in Nashville. Can anyone envision MC Jim Lauderdale (a frustrated stand-up comic anyway) turning to the Jumbotron and everyone gazing up to see Lu thanking the Americana Association from a continent away? I guess that would violate the sanctity of the hallowed Ryman Auditorium, but seriously, IJ or anyone else, are these things announced ahead of time? Who will be there to pick up the plaques or trophies or whatever? I know it’s a big deal for Lucinda, since she’s mentioned the nominations multiple times from the stage this year.
