    What would you put on a 18 track greatest hits album?
    Keep in mind this is to introduce new listeners to Lucinda’s work.

    Here’s mine (no specific order):

    Parker; it’s hard to argue with that list. I’d like to include “Essence” and “Greenville”, but wouldn’t want to pick which songs to replace.

    Both of those are great. After I made the list I forgot one of my favorites “Bus to Baton Rouge”. 😕

    That’s what I thought too. It was missing Bus to Baton Rouge. I wouldn’t talk you out of putting Side of the Road on it either.

    These aren’t my faves or even what i think are her “best”, but the songs that I think have the broadest appeal to someone who hadn’t really heard of Lucinda… Ok, the ‘bonus track’ is a personal fave that I couldn’t omit, and it’s GOT to be the live version because she plays that song live soooo much better than the studio version she did….
