I’m a big fan of Lucinda and have seen two of her shows, and I’m going to see another one in about two months. I’ve never really gotten an idea of what she’s like, because the first time I saw her I was really far away from the stage. The second time I was really close to the stage, I was right under her feet. She didn’t say much in between songs, except for stating the name and occasionally telling a brief little story. My experience differs from the many things I’ve heard about her shows. I’ve heard she gets really drunk and has rants on stage?? And that she’s a diva??
Could someone who knows more clarify this for me? I love Lucinda and think her music is great no matter what, but I’m just curious to know more about what she’s like and what could be expected at her concerts.

Have fun at the show. I have never met her, but I heard that she is very pleasant when she meets her fans.

Eres un ejemplo para las mujeres. Tienes que venir a Galicia, en el norte de España, a Vigo o a Santiago de Compostela. Un saludiño.

She is also very human. She’s has her up days and her down days. Things tick her off and she may let off some steam on the stage. That is rare, I believe. If she can, after shows, she will stay to visit. Sometimes the turnaround to the next show is too short and she has to run. She is the furthest thing from a diva you will ever come across.

There was one where she was quiet, only talking to introduce the songs, but sounded great. Another show, she couldn’t believe how good the acoustics were in the venue and kept commenting on how great it sounded to her and how wonderful the crowd was. She and the band were on fire and so were we. That was one of the best concert experiences ever for me. I met her once after a different show, got her autograph and she was gracious and friendly as could be. And Teresa is totally right. There’s nothing diva about Lu.
