The season finale of Treme featured a storyline about this year’s Jazz Fest. And they showed Lucinda and the boys doing Crescent City, maybe about 30 seconds of it. Lucinda looked great.
The show is repeated several times during the week so if you get HBO you will have a chance to see it.
i’m gonna see this episode tomorrow.
david simon & co. have a thing for lucinda on season finales. she was mentioned on the last episode of the 1st season.

We just caught up with the final episode today. Only quibble I have, and it’s about Treme rather than Lucinda, is that there’s such a bunch of great music in Treme but we seldom get to see an entire performance. The music hits a righteous groove and then there’s a cutaway to some other part of the story. Still, I guess it’s good because it’s spurred me on to check out some of the musicians, including Lucinda – and the more I hear her the more I like her music.
And don’t get me wrong, Treme’s a great show. I’m only peeved that we’ll have to wait another year for season 3. 😀
