Lucinda & Shuggie Otis in Nashville 7/15

After a recent show in Nashville at the City Winery Lucinda got some hang time with the legendary guitar player Shuggie Otis. For those unfamiliar with Shuggie he wrote the 1977 Brothers Johnson smash hit Strawberry Letter 23. He is also the son of legendary R & B singer Johnny Otis and he played and recorded with his father as a teenager.



I think Lucinda just found a friend.
And I think she just spontaneously wrote a song while she was trying it out.
