    What a night at 3rd & Lindsley in Nashville last night. The return of Stax soul legend William Bell -he’s the guy who wrote many classic songs, including Born Under A Bad Sign and You Don’t Miss Your Water (Until Your Well Runs Dry).
    If you get a chance to see him on this comeback tour do not miss it. He was amazing. 76 years young and sounded like he did 40 years ago. Lu was in heaven. What an honor. His new album on the newly revived Stax label is his first in years and was impeccably produced by John Leventhal. Where has he been all these years? A life affirming night.

    Agreed. Well worth the four-hour round trip to attend this.
