Found this article written by Margaret Moser dated October 26, 1998 in the Weekly Wire section of the Austin Chroncile entitled ” Moon Shaped Panties and the Saint of White Trash”.

The interview from Nashville is broken down into 6 sub headings as follows:
    1. Music
    2. The Late Lucinda Williams ( hence my post title )
    3. It’s just a record Lu
    4. Songs of the South
    5. Loading the Metal Firecracker
    6. This old house
This Forum has been around for quite some time, so please give me some slack if it is a re-post.
It’s a great read and includes Richard “Hombre” Price going through all of Lu’s stuff in the garage while he is waiting for Lu ( kinda like T. Overby currently searching Lu’s record collection for the stripped down version of “Blue” )
Also references to Jim Lauderdale and Gurf Morlix.
It’s a good lengthy read with lots of humor and re-enforces why we all love Lu. Enjoy!

    Here is the link.
