ParticipantLu: “I thank ya’ll so much for being here. I want to thank Luke Lewis for helping me to make my career possible and make the records I want to make. ” There was more about Lost Highway, but 3 glasses of wine has me at a disadvantage. 😮

ParticipantDang. Lu went into a lengthy intro for “For What’s It’s Worth” however I can’t read my chicken scratch.
True that. Along the same lines she was using during the tour.

Thanks for the play-by-play, Lafayette! 🙂
At the Orange Peel it was so dark in the 3rd ‘row’, I truly couldn’t see anything at all that I was writing. Trying to decipher my notes was like trying to read Ray Charles’ handwriting. 😉

ParticipantI caught this great show too on Sirius, Lafayette but never thought to check in on the FF to join in on your posts. Wow, from green tea to 3 glasses of vino.( I had two Molson Canadian eh! lagers )

Well, here’s my votes!
Drunken Angel
Pineola
Convince Me
Born To Be Loved
Essence
Real Live Bleeding Fingers And Broken Guitar StringsTom
P.S. And, if I HAD to narrow down my choices to two, it would be “Pineola” & “Convince Me”… 😉

ParticipantTO…you are an incredible, fan concious manager. You’re a “Rarity.”
Here is my wish list.
1. Born To Be Loved – This version was reminiscent of her AMA performance, only more powerful.
2. Convince Me – As I mentioned before, this is fast becoming a favorite of mine to see live. The
blistering guitar solos are an added bonus.3. Blessed – A slower number, beautiful, and should be represented as it is the title track. I
think numerous fans relate to the message of this song.4. Essence – Classic song. It scorched last night.
5. Unsuffer Me – I’ve heard this several times live. Last night’s version was numero uno.
6. Real Live Bleeding Fingers – A favorite of mine. She was playing this on the Mellencamp tour, and I
always felt the energy of the crowd pick up on this one.7. Drunken Angel – Austin:represented. Lu mentioned last year at one of her CA shows this song was the
most requested song when facebook requests were the soup du jour.8. Pineola – Another classic. A must on my list.
9. Buttercup – This would be my last choice of the Blessed songs but would love to see it included. It’s the first single, a bad boy song, (I love it when she kicks her bad boys to the curb), probably more recognizable among the new songs, so DUH it should be on iTunes. I’m being selfish. I want to hear the more ‘obscure’ numbers, like “Convince Me” 😀
