I really thought there were people from this list there to take down the set list, she sang a very cool version of Change the Locks after being asked by someone in the crowd.

Long Way To The TopSeptember 27, 2008 at 3:34 am #37319RainydaymanParticipantThanks very much for the setlist Insider Dude. I was there last night, standing about 6 feet from the stage on Chet’s side. Wow, the show was great. Great venue. Great city. Lots of cool people, many of whom were hooting and hollering. Thanks for changing the venue to the Orange Peel, Tom.
Opening with Real Love was wonderful. It has a very Stonesy feel to it. In fact, I got my wish to hear a lot of songs off the new album (7 of ’em). This is, after all, the Little Honey Tour is it not? Rock Star was insanely good and the AC/DC cover really does work. I was curious as to how that song was going to sound coming from Lucinda, but she breathed some new life into it. Some cute lady standing near me yelled, “Everything you do is awesome, Lucinda,” and she was right. I hope Lucinda heard her; it looked like she was having almost as much fun as we were. I don’t think there were any false starts, not that it would have mattered anyway. The local Pisgah Pale Ale which was flowing freely at the bar may have clouded my memory just a tad, so hopefully someone could help me out with a few questions. My girlfriend and I don’t recall Doug playing any harmonica or pedal steel guitar. Did we miss this while out smoking? We missed the opening Buick 6 set. Chet played a mean Hammond organ sounding keyboard on at least one song. He and Doug of course got face to face with their guitars on Joy, and there was one song in particular in which Chet did a killer lead guitar solo, but I can’t remember which one it was. And I know I heard a brief Zeppelin riff, but alas I can’t remember which song it was in, maybe Real Live Bleeding Fingers…….can anyone help a brother out and fill in the holes in my memory?
