Tickets for the Long Beach concert at Queen Mary Park went on sale via Ticketmaster several minutes ago. There are 2 categories of tickets: $30 standing general admission, and $50 sitting in left, center, or right sections. So far, I have not found a seat map–the right section availability showed Row P, the center section availability showed Row C, and the left section availability showed Row O. At times, the search returns a reserved section without a specific seat. The same results occur for the Joan Baez and Beach Boys shows. I’m still looking, but I think the process needs to mature…

edit: I bought tickets in section 1. It didn’t give a row or seat number. This is convenient because I will be on the road Friday and would have had a hard time buying tickets.

However, the purchasing selection still does not indicate which seat row or number is being purchased. Apparently, a work in progress…

One way to see the exact seats you’ve been given — go to the account info link at the bottom of the Ticketmaster page. Then find the LW concert within your order history. If you open that up, it should show you the seats you’ve been given. That’s how I learned what seats I’d been assigned after purchase.
Now, if she’ll only play “2 Kool” . . . .
July 22, 2010 at 7:51 pm #43927paul_from_losangelesParticipantTicket selections are now showing the row and seat number to be purchased, although the map is not especially helpful in finding the seats. I feel this thread has served its purpose, and I will not make further entries. Let’s move on to the music…
