Got my discs today! I was very impressed with the packaging. I was expecting just a printed slip case. Thanks to Lucinda and all who was part of putting these great live-recordings together and thanks to INSIDE JOB who got these to all of us. THANKS! now off to enjoy my cd’s…..
Packaging – I gotta say good on the design, bad on the execution. Getting the inside digipak out of the slipcases was way too difficult. I think I did slight damage to all of them (L.A. 5 show set). Either the outer slip case had to be bent out some (none actually ripped) or in pushing the digipak out the front and back covers got pushed separately and the spine was stressed. The slipcases were just too small.
Self-titled wouldn’t play in my car, the only one I’ve tried so far.
I can’t stop listening to these discs. Beautiful performances. Lucinda’s voice is just glorious. Its fun to hear her talk about the songs and let us know little insights into the songs. Some artists are afraid to do this, and Lucinda has kept quiet about them for quite some time. But it doesn’t change what they mean to me. Only difference is, now I know what they mean to her.
Awesome job, and I can’t express what this means to the fans that you listened to our requests and made these CD’s available to those that couldn’t make it to the actual shows. Thanks for listening, and thank you more for the music.
After listening to the LA shows, I am VERY tempted to buy the NYC shows.
What are the stand-out shows in the NYC series?I have received the entire NY collection and 3 of the LA shows (I just ordered the other 2). They are fabulous. I went to the Car Wheels show in LA and was totally blown away. Lucinda is absolutely awesome in concert and these discs do her entire justice. Thanks for all involved.
I just ordered the full sets for NY and LA. Lucinda and all you folks running the site and the forums – this is an outstanding idea and I hope more artists cotton on to releasing legit live shows through their personal websites.
When I saw that Lu was doing five nights in New York, I seriously considered taking out a loan just to visit NY from Canada and see all five concerts. To be able to purchase the recordings is a dream come true. I saw her in Toronto at Massey Hall and was just blown away.

Can someone please help me? I ordered the NY set and paid through Paypal but have not received the CDs and cannot check status. When I log in the store it says my email is incorrect but that is not true because the “store” sent my an email when I registered! I will wait patiently for the CDs but am afraid something has gone wrong?? I have sent two emails to store@lucindawilliams.com with no answer yet.
By the way, this is my first post; I have been a long time “viewer” of the forum. I saw Lucinda last April in Columbus and this past July in Pittsburgh. I am very excited for the CDs; the pictures on the CDs are some of the best I’ve ever seen of her!!!THANKS! 🙄
That’s fast if they’ve started arriving in the UK (especially given the mountain of postal backlog since the strikes here). Hopefully mine will arrive sometime this week then ~ really looking forward to getting stuck in to them! 😀
