I just received the album Humming By The Flowered Vine and have fallen in love with Laura Cantrell’s voice. Any one else a fan?
As pointed out in this other thread by forum member extraordinaire LWJetta, this album contains a cover of an old, unreleased Lu song, “Letters”. A full-length live version (the version on the CD is a studio version) can be heard here on Ms. Cantrell’s Web site.
Also, the opening track of Humming By The Flowered Vine, “14th Street”, can be heard here in it’s entirely. This song, IMHO, is a great showcase for Laura’s pure, clear voice.
