Ticketmaster has tickets for both shows going on sale on Saturday 9/12 at 10:00 CDT. October 23 show has a show time of 6:00, which sounds unusual.
September 9, 2008 at 6:14 pm #36988TimParticipantSorry, I got the day wrong. Tickets go on sale on FRIDAY September 12.
September 9, 2008 at 6:28 pm #36989TimParticipantI don’t know about this venue, though. Mostly standing room only. I found this review of someone who attended a show there last year. Too bad she didn’t play The State Theatre like last year.

I just left my first post on this site yesterday and mentioned how her show there in ’03 was so great, and she likens it to the Fillmore etc. That’s why I flew out to CA for the Santa Cruz show (at the invitation of a hot date). Personally, Bleeding Fingers just doesn’t seem right at a zoo or winery or fancy old theater. I know we’re getting old folks, and I’ll be running for the nearest 2-top at the club, but in my experience half the crowd’s on there feet eventually anyway.

Some shows here have reserved sight line seating but this one does not. Best bet is to get there early if you want a table (there aren’t many). I have seen many shows here and Lucinda will blow the roof off the joint. I can’t wait. We should try to get a group together and have some preshow beverages!

A noisy dive, with general admission seating only. Smaller and intimate, this will be a terrific show. Can’t wait.
This question may or may not be appreciated, if you are not in favor of 420, stop reading here. 😈
I saw Shelby Lynne at the Showbox SoDo a few months back and she was just wonderful. Reading her forum after the show, I noticed Shelby posted and stated her way of ‘partying’ now is to sit back with some close friends, listen to music and smoke some nice weed. I wished I had followed through on my original plan to gift her a bud of world famous Seattle grown, and hope I get the chance another time. We do have the best bud in the world here, many of our growers have won awards at the C Cup!!! Next time Shelby, I promise!!!
I’d love to sneak up to the stage at the Showbox (easy! 😉 ) and give a little present to Lu.
Anyone here know or think that would be appreciated? Or maybe not?
I want to encourage Lucinda to come back to Seattle frequently and we have many wonderful reasons to. Seattle police have 420 busts as their lowest priority, they are directed to enfore parking violations as a higher crime. And one that actually pays the city.
If anyone has a reason to think this gesture would be a good thing or a bad thing to know, I’d love to be informed!!!
September 19, 2008 at 12:06 pm #36994searsgirlParticipantCan’t wait until Oct 15th. Lu is coming to Columbus at the lifestyles pavillion this will be my first Lucinda concert. I sooooo pumped. Love this woman she sings to my soul………
September 21, 2008 at 11:25 pm #36995stevarinoParticipantHey Sears girl,
I’ll be having a little party at the Hyatt just a few blocks from the show in Columbus. Send me a note and I’ll let you know where it is if you want to join me and some of my friends prior to the show and/or after.
September 22, 2008 at 5:29 pm #36996grantbowenParticipantSuddenly the show in Vancouver has disappeared. Ticketmaster never listed it and now it is not even on the list on lucindawilliams.com.
Anyone have any info on what’s happening for Vancouver?
