Thanks for the reports from Sunday’s show…I was wondering when they’d appear, would have loved to have caught this show (Essence is probably my favorite Lu album), but can’t do everything. Wanna be sedated had to be fun. Keep those setlists and reports coming!!!
Yes! Thanks, everyone for all the reviews of the Essence show. I saw Willie Nile open for Lu at her 4 hour marathon show in Baltimore a few years back. He was great. You know I remember when she first tested those songs and then released and toured the Essence disc, I was moved to tears by her voice.
So, I’m headed to NY tomorrow for SOW and LW shows. I’ll be on a train home most of Friday. I’ll try to post something when I get back.
