    The Los Angeles Times review for the Wednesday/Thursday El Rey shows is now available at www.calendarlive.com (period shifted so the link works). I believe this is the online version for Saturday’s print edition. You can select to enlarge a nice photo of Lucinda in her turquoise dress.

    thanks for the link Paul. great article. sounds like the shows are just getting better — the band’s performance, jammming, lu’s opening up with the audience conversationally…. I loved hearing about the “shamanistic” patti smith moment. 🙂
