LA – Five night stand

Five nights at the El Rey. Each night has the first set an entire album starting with WWOT then backwards chronologically to Lucinda Williams.

I’m close to LA but not close enough to pull off going every night. I think I’m check out the Essence, Car Wheels, and LW featured nights.

If you have a favorite Lucinda song (as long as it’s not on West or Happy Woman Blues), you can pick your night and be assured to hear that song. I don’t think I’ve heard Lucinda do ‘Drunken Angel’. The thought of hearing both ‘Blue’ and ‘I Envy the Wind’ (back-to-back!!!!!) in the same set would be very special for me.
