    2 Real Live Bleeding

    5 Metal Firecracker [!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!]

Not sure why the set was so [relatively] short, but good quality. Good to see Mike & Doris from Des Moines (third straight show), a couple I met in my Iowa City hotel lobby (second straight show), and the inimitable Mark McLaughlin from San Francisco, a Clash fan and KC native.

Thanks, stoger, as always! Metal Firecracker should have been a nod to your Greyhound experience this leg! Viv

From Tom:Another hot and steamy night in KC, but at least it wasn’t the torrential downpour like it was the last time here. Lu had family in the house and her niece requested Real Love, which that band hadn’t played for probably 5 years, so Lu decided to take a shot at it solo. And it turned into a very special moment with the crowd singing along. We were all completely blown away by that. That describes how enthusiastic the audience that was there was, but we’d be lying if we said we weren’t disappointed by the tour turnout after not playing KC for 4 years. KC has always been solid. Maybe someone could shed some light —is it that venue etc. Would love to hear some local perspective. Lu and the band are really on a roll —these are some of the best Lucinda shows ever and we just want people to see them. Ok -down off the soapbox.
2 more live debuts brings the YTD total to 86
