Seems Kathleen has had a good rest and is now going back on the road.
I have many choices to see her this summer from a free concert in Toronto to a return visit to the Jackson Trigg’s Winery 10 minutes from where I live. ($53.00)
My possibilities are underlined as they are all within 2 hours driving.
Here’s the schedule. We are also really excited to announce some more summer shows!

Kathleen is heading to Bonnaroo this weekend! We’re pleased to announce that her performance will be part of the Bonnaroo webcast June 8th â 10th exclusively on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/bonnaroo. Kathleen’s performance will be streamed live starting at 4:00pm central on Sunday, June 10th. Along with Kathleen’s show will be other great artist performances from Bonnaroo. After the festival, you can catch some of what you missed at http://www.youtube.com/bonnaroo.lwj
June 10, 2012 at 10:12 pm #41575LWjettaParticipantA superb live concert from Bonnaroo with no buffering.
Songs I enoyed were:
Back to Me
House full of empty rooms ( Kathleen on violin)
Change the Sheets
and 12 Bellevue
Full band and Kathleen was up to speed with her stage banter such as “I stopped wearing underwear cause it’s so f** hot”Catch a replay if you missed it.

Hey Tom did you make it to this show in Athens ?
I just found out about Kathleen’s new side project-an all girls band called Modern Beaver.[attachment=0:1lqro510]edwards-beavers-456-1351013268.jpg[/attachment:1lqro510]http://www.spinner.ca/2012/10/23/kathleen-edwards-modern-beaver/

I did – thanks for the heads up, LWJ. I enjoyed the show very much, although I was somewhat disappointed that she played only a couple older songs. The highlight of the evening was my discovery of a new venue (for me) in Athens – The Melting Point. It is an old foundry, and the listening room is unique in that it has 3 levels, all of which are just a stone’s throw (literally) from the stage. The second level is just above the stage & offers an incredibly good view & sound. I am heading back there in January to see Justin Townes Earle…

Modern Beaver, eh? Oh, the possibilities – I look forward to hearing what this “”Canadian explosion of sexual fantasy and sloppy rock ‘n’ roll” comes up with… đ

Thanks for the warning.
The 1st 20 seconds, the last 5 seconds, the voice, the song and the street scenes in Toronto are great. The rest very disappointing -just not my cup of tea. It’s not worth a 2nd look.

I thought it was kind of funny in a macabre sort of way… đ
But I can definitely understand being “turned-off” by it…
