Tntracy, I know this is most unfair but look what I bought today especially seeing Kathleen just 3 weeks ago in Toronto.
This is an outdoor concert at Tawse Winery in Vineland, ON just 30 km’s from my house.
No ticketmaster fees on this one. I drove to the venue to check it out and got my ticket.
You don’t see many concert tickets with the performer’s pictures in colour nowdays.
If I get a chance to speak to her I’ll mention Eddie’s Attic from another devoted fan.

Looks like a great evening – enjoy!Sure was Friday night at the winery.
Here is my take home souvenir.[attachment=1:3e3w9eih]js640_Kathleen_Edwards.jpg[/attachment:3e3w9eih]
Got to chat with Kathleen after her set wth Colin (her hubby)
She remembered Eddie’s Attic tntracy but didn’t want to remember her “biotch” story from last year at another winery.
She did a new song from her upcoming album.
Kathleen took a 6 month sojurn from touring about 3 years ago and because she knew the owner of the Tawse Winery, went to see him for a job. She literally did everything at the winery including stocking shelves etc.
The grand “finale” of the evening had a large part of the audience close to the stage singing and dancing with all the performers on stage.
Jim Cuddy (of Blue Rodeo) took distinct pleasure in teasing Kathleen(who by this time was barefoot on stage)
The setting was superb amongst the grape vines in the Niagara Escarpment. and the alfresco dining was reasonably priced and true gourmet in quality served on real china.
Car parking (no charge-unlike Lu’s upcoming Mountain Winery gig) was quite a walk along paths surrounded by the grape vines and at the end of the concert was all lit up by dozens of tiki torches.(a la Survivor)
All in all one memorable evening.
And here’s a pic near the end of the concert.

Thanks for the report & pictures. And thanks for the Eddie’s Attic / Atlanta mention. Hopefully, it’ll put a little reminder in her head to come back South soon!
Funny coincidence – we went to Eddie’s Attic last night to see a great local musician named Michelle Malone. All the way there & back, we listened to Kathleen in the car…

Hey everybody!!!! can’t wait for the east coast shows starting this week. I’m trying really really hard to get recording a new album, so i’m sorry there aren’t more west coast/central/southern dates… but soon i hope.
come out to see these shows, they’re full band and we’re going to kill it!!In the meantime, here is one of her new songs “Mint” from Infinity Hall, Norfolk, VA on July 19th.
Nice video quality.

Maybe this will tide you over Tom and bring back memories of good old Eddie’s Attic.

p.s. Was that you getting up and blocking the view from time to time?August 13, 2010 at 2:44 am #41503tntracyParticipant@LWjetta wrote:

Hard to tell from those silhouettes, but I doubt it – I usually do not get up & wander around much when it is an artist I love as much as Ms. Edwards. It is probably the wait staff at Eddie’s…

August 15, 2010 at 2:33 pm #41504LWjettaParticipantThought I would post this link on Kathleen.
An “Atlantic Adventure” on board a luxury ship cruising Eastern Canada with the Fred Eaglesmith Band and featuring Kathleen.
Cruise is from Sept. 13-18, 2010 and would only be for the nouveau riche Kathleen fans as tickets run from $2,989.US and up ++++++airfare etc.
The ship is called the “Ocean Nova” and normally sails to the Antartica for tours.
Looks like a great musical cruise

Looks like a great musical cruiseHere’s Kathleen aboard the “Ocean Nova” on September 17th, singing a song dedicated to a friend Alicia Ross .
The ship must have been at port in calm seas as the video and song is superb.

I would bet this is a combo working / vacation for the musicians.lwj
