Lafayette, the latest e-mail I recently received fom Farm Aid still will not divulge this year’s location.
You, being an inside job of sorts must have a clue.
Hope it’s within reasonable driving distance of Ontario.
Oh well, just over a week to go for Windsor.

p.s. really liked the entire 7609 box package.No, I am clueless in Cincy…by my choosing. A friend who has the inside info was going to give me a hint and I refused. I told them I did not want to be disappointed for weeks before the announcement if I am not within driving distance. So, I wait. The announcement is usually mid-July.
Oh, very good on the box set! I still have to make reservations 😯 I will take care of that very soon and PM you.

lwj joined my husband and myself for a JM show in Windsor ON at Caesar’s Casino. We ran into half the band at the bar after the show, so lwj had an impromptu band M & G.

For those in the Friendly Forum, all the banter Lafayette and I have exchanged over the last several months about all kinds of great music artistry certainly came to fruition Thursday in Windsor.i.e. now able to connect the …… and meet an extremely nice and devoted “Mellonhead” fan and her husband in person and to express my appreciation to her for encouraging me to attend this great sold out concert with JM.I hope I can again see JM at Farm Aid this year.
Not only did we enjoy a meet and greet with the band after the concert, we also bumped into Jon E. Gee the bass player before the gig in the restaurant.
Secondly, I again have to thank Lafayette for “upgrading” my ticket from the 9th row to the 4th row centre stage while she took first row standing by the stage for the duration of the concert.

It was a 4th row recording, however, I’m being told it is buffering way too much. My friend wants me to take it down and put it back up again. Both of my uploads are buffering, I’m not sure why.
Well, last night one of my friends attended Rockfest in WI. Today, I noticed I had a missed call at 1:43 a.m EST from my friend. I was sleeping. I figured she was calling me to give me a concert update as I was the one that talked her into going, it was very near her home and she doesn’t get to see JM all that much.
Today, she told me, nope it wasn’t an update, John was doing his cell phone schtick during Jack and Diane, where he asks a fan to phone a friend and he talks to them. She phoned me! I was in bed. DANG. As it turned out, the phone call dropped anyway, so its not even on voice mail.

The Casino Rama show on July 14th had the same tel. call thing.

Apparently, Willie let the date and location slip during an interview on an XM radio station.
