Great show by Jim Lauderdale last night at McCabe’s Guitar Shop in Santa Monica. The place was full and Jim played for 2 hours solo, starting at 8:15. He played a lot of songs from his new CD, Patchwork River. He also played songs from the Bluegrass Diaries and Head For the Hills. He was also quite the comedian, telling numerous funny stories in between songs. He signed CDs and chatted with us simple folk after the show. I saw TBone Burnett and Pamela Des Barres there. The only other celebrity I recognized was our own Paul from Los Angeles who swung by on his way to Molly Malones for a full night of clubbing.
Watch Jim sing and host Music City Roots Live from the Loveless Cafe in Nashville on March 16th.
This is a full three hour concert of a great mix of country artists.

Wonderful site. Live streams weekly on Wednesday.
I’ve marked my calendar to watch.
Just got tickets to see Jim at Eddie’s Attic in Decatur, GA the 16th of August! West Words will be attending with us, so I am doubly looking forward to this show. Lots of good music coming my way!!!
