    Outstanding discussion Blake. Thank you.

It appears you don’t have a Wikipedia page yet.
This interview would be an excellent reference to start the page on your career.
I think our forum moderator edits Lu’s Wiki site from time to time, maybe he could get yours going. hint!

Very encouraging to hear that Tom O’s discovery of lyrics and tape demos created between Lu’s self-titled and World Without Tears are being considered . These “unknown” songs have been discussed at great length on the forum, so let’s hope they come to fruition.

Love your innovative twists to the music you are doing on the current tour.

I believe, at one point, a wiki page was attempted but discarded? Not exactly sure how the whole thing works, but the remains of that article can be found here:

    good luck!

I started listening to this interview but had to stop half way through. I did, catch, however, the part where you were asked about the “I Just Wanted To See You So Bad” cover and commenting you preferred it hadn’t “leaked” out. Oops — apologies for that particular forthcoming. Unfortunately, or fortunately, however you tend to look at things, all bets are off to all things Lu related here in the friendly forum. 😉 🙂

I’m looking forward to hearing the entire interview when time allows.

    That’s awesome Tom.
I looked at the help functions, demo etc. to start the Wiki but I have very little experience at writing, editing, etc.
I know Blake will really appreciate it.
Besides, I “kinda nominated” you as you did a superb job of getting the ball rolling on updating Lucinda’s Setlist FM.
That was a lot of research and input. Kudos to Lafayette for her input on the set lists as well.

Especially as of late – she has really “taken the baton” from me as it were, and run with it. I got lazy after my initial marathon of setlist-posting, and Lafayette has admirably taken up my slack since…

Hoo boy. OK, first of all, a big ol’ caveat here – I am far from a Wikipedia expert; more like a “newbie”, truth be told. I have edited Lu’s article a few times, adding guest appearances to the list that is there, and adding her most recent Grammy nomination. But that’s it – I have never started a new article before. But, Wikipedia has a good “how to” article so, I reviewed it, and off I went.

However, when I began the process of entering a new article “Blake Mills”, I discovered that an old article had been selected for deletion by a Wikipedia administrator in January 2010 based on Wikipedia’s “Criteria for Speedy Deletion”, reason A7, then deleted again in February 2010 by a Wikipedia moderator, this time for failing to satisfy Wikipedia’s “WP/NM” – Notability (music) guideline.

Finding this all a bit intimidating, not to mention not wanting to “buck” the decisions of both a Wikipedia administrator and a moderator, I am going to pass at this time on re-creating your Wikipedia page, Blake. Sorry, dude, but f**k ’em if they don’t think you are “notable” enough at this point to “rate” a Wikipedia article. We know you are, and we also know it’ll only be a matter of time before even the most critical & cynical Wikipedia administrator cannot deny you an article! 😉
