ParticipantTom O has mentioned a fan club is still on the table.
I thought I’d make a thread and just let everyone jot down
their ideas for the fan club perks. Please keep in mind these are just ideas I have had. I’m not sure if they are possible or not.
Basically a wish list. 😀• Fan Club seating at shows
• Fan Club pre ticket sales opportunities.
• Fan Club contests (win tickets, t-shirts or other merch etc.)
• Meet and Greets
• Fan Club designed Poster or T-shirt
• Would love to be able to download live shows or unreleased studio tracks. At Todd Snider shows you can purchase a download code for 7 bucks and then download the complete show from the website when it is available. I think this is a steal.
I usually go to quite a few shows when Lucinda is in this area of the country.
I’d gladly pay 25-50 for fan club membership.November 10, 2010 at 2:08 am #44712Lafayette
ParticipantI would be happy to join a Lu fan club as well.
One thought to expand on is meet and greets with the band.
Contest to attend a soundcheck.

ParticipantGood idea on the soundcheck. That would be cool!

ParticipantI had an idea a while back – for GA shows, allow fan club members early (or first) admittance through the doors so that those who want can get right up front, and others can nab limited bar tables, balcony seats, or whatever is available & they want…

the pre-ticket sales I like to avoid the ticketBastard fees.
The live show download- at most of the ‘jam band’ type events I go to, you can usually buy the night’s performance on a CD 15 minutes after the show.

ParticipantHighly agree that being able to purchase a show that you have just seen would be cool. Even if it is not immediately afterward. I bought one of Mark Knopflers and it was mailed mp3 wise a few days later. 😀

ParticipantIt sure beats trying to track down bootlegs. I’d much rather pay out right for it and get pretty good quality.
