Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but the b-side of the real love single is on itunes but doesn’t appear to be on the album – download only? 😕
So… how do blokes and lasses livin’ in the states purchase I Live My Life off iTunes UK without doing something illegal? Or, will ILML also be available through another outlet in the US market? Dying to know…
Oh, so it’s on iTMS in the UK – that explains why I couldn’t find it when I looked in the US iTMS yesterday…

I am currently basking in the warm, smug glow of european exclusivity!
For the record, the song is 2 minutes of blues that sounds like it ought to be part of a much longer song – which it may well be one day – still good though (obviously, duh!) and with plenty of true-blue Lu attitude crammed in – “If you love the life you live, live it every day.”
I’m sure that it will turn up over there legally soon – but now you know how I felt when Real Love arrived a couple of weeks late this side of the pond. So I am just going to enjoy having something that my transatlantic chums ain’t got ahold of yet (For once!)
^ For once?! You Europeans get all the great nifty stuff – you still even get CD singles. Americans haven’t had CD singles with all their interesting live version, remixes, B-sides etc. for many years now.
“Real Love”‘s exclusivity here for a little while ago was a rare positive for this side of the pond.
Someone in the UK posted over in the lucindawilliams Yahoo group that “I Live My Life” is also available at Play.com (here is a link). But, we here in the States can’t purchase a copy (unless you have a credit card w/ a European billing address)… 👿
Inside Job – will this track eventually be available here in the U.S.? I’m dying for a copy…
