ParticipantAn extended really jammin” version over 7 1/2 mins.) live via WXPN at Penn’s landing in Philly July 11, 1998.
Includes a band intro (Kenny Vaughan, Bo Ramsey, Fran Breen and “Hombre” Price) and some great Lu commentary at the end.

I haven’t tried to download this one yet punchdrunklove, but here is a link complete with artwork.

Participanti have this — no “dallas” whatsoever in it.

ParticipantYeh, punchdrunklove, my boot of the 9-5-93 Strawberry Music Festival (a copy I received from a friend – not packaged with those cover shots & the SOW Demos) does not include a track “Dallas” either – it ends w/ “Factory Blues” as does your copy…

Participantalthough this is not my copy (i just found it on a website full of artwork for boots), i have everything listed there. the show is really great, but the demos are stellar (e.g. “lines around your eyes” is really similar, lyrics-wise, to “jackson”). apparently (by the article: http://archives.nodepression.com/1998/08/setting-the-record-straight/) lucinda recorded SOW three times, the first is known as the “rca recordings”, the 2nd, “cameleon recordings” and the 3rd, the released version.
it’s up to debate if those tracks are from the ‘rca’ or the ‘camaleon’. apparently, on the rca there’s “well well well” (???!!!). i never heard the track.
below are two demos i don’t have, but they exist somewhere:
Lucinda Williams – demos, Austin, TX, -84
Hot Blood / Out Of Touch / Through Venetian Blinds / I Bet It’d Be Good / That’s What I’m Living For / Hard Times
Notes: Lucinda & guitar. I’m missing “Pineola” and “Six Blocks Away” which are supposed to be the first 2 tracks on this session.

Lucinda Williams – demos, NYC, -82
All I Want / Pancakes / Walking After Midnight / And All That Jazz / Abandoned / Making Believe / Send Me A Letter(?) / I Wonder Will I Ever Be Back Home(?) / Pineola*
does anybody have any info on “what you don’t know”? was this written by LW?
