December 15, 2010 at 3:49 pm #44836tonygKeymasterGreat news for Lefty!
December 15, 2010 at 5:03 pm #44837LWjettaParticipantAwful tempting for me-about a 3 & 1/2-4 hour drive to Ithaca.
Ticket prices are great.
Would love to know any opening act and the full band composition.
The State Theatre has an antique organ there-Would be neat to see it played.December 17, 2010 at 4:19 pm #44838stogerParticipantOrchestra B105.
December 17, 2010 at 4:39 pm #44839TimParticipantGreat Job, Stoger. Don’t forget to bring your parka with you!
December 18, 2010 at 6:45 pm #44840DavidinMaineParticipantHey TO: It’s been a couple of days without any “official” 411 regarding this show and what appears to be a developing leg of the “tour.” Any details that you are prepared to divulge at this point? Hmmm…
December 18, 2010 at 11:28 pm #44841LeftyParticipantYikes! I was asleep at the switch, boys. Thanks for posting, Tim.
H-105 Center Orchestra for me.
Tonight’s low in the People’s Republic of Ithaca will be 7 above. Should be double-digit temps by concert night! We’ve had 70″ of snow this month alone in Syracuse 😆
We’ll have to rendezvous, stoger. LWj: C’mon down! You in, fuji?December 19, 2010 at 12:25 am #44842LWjettaParticipant@Lefty wrote:

I can’t commit until Monday as, in my part-time accounting job I have to transmit payroll on a Tuesday a.m.
I just might be able to send the payroll info in one day early.
If I do go Lefty, will you be sporting the same pink and blue shirt you wore in Ra-Cha-Cha in March/09 ? 😆Would be good to all meet up pre-concert.
lwjDecember 19, 2010 at 1:32 am #44843TOverbyParticipantWas caught off guard with how fast the Ithaca went on sale. It seemed like it was about 5 minutes after I hung up the phone confirming the show. Yes there are more dates coming on this leg -working on it as we speak. We just confirmed 3/9 in Boston (House Of Blues) and 3/15 in Washington DC (930 Club). I am hoping to add shows 3/8 & 14 and waiting to hear back on 3/15.
There will also be some solo shows before Toronto -probably beginning 2/18 but nothing has been officially confirmed yet. Details on those coming soon.December 19, 2010 at 2:02 am #44844fuji81ParticipantI’m in…Balcony for Toronto, so I figured up close for Ithaca. Orchestra Center A 109
What I’m really holding out hope for, is a solo acoustic show somewhere along the way.December 19, 2010 at 6:27 am #44845LafayetteParticipant@TOverby wrote:

I’m in Philly on 2/21 for a JM show. Will I ever be disappointed if I miss out on a Lu solo show.
December 19, 2010 at 12:16 pm #44846DavidinMaineParticipantThanks, for the info, TO. So there are several days in between Boston and DC–what direction are you thinking? Perhaps The Music Hall in Portsmouth (a terrific historical music room and a fun town to grab a pint/red wine). Or how about a really small room in Portland like One Longfellow Square for a one-off type of show (Paula Poundstone has done some shows there along with a host of others that are the same caliber). Saw Greg Brown/Bo Ramsey there and Rupa and the April Fishes along with many other terrific shows… The State Theater is another option. Any idea of tour players yet? How about touring partners in terms of double-billing–any thoughts? Thanks, again, for the info and I hope tickets are moving for the Vroom show coming up on the 31st…
December 19, 2010 at 4:12 pm #44847TimParticipantGreat suggestions DavidInMaine. I’ll also offer up The Calvin Theatre; Northampton, Mass; and The Capitol Center For The Arts in Concord, NH. Lucinda put on a great show there in March 2009.
December 19, 2010 at 4:29 pm #44848DavidinMaineParticipantYeah, I saw LWs I think it was 2003 in Concord along with around 2000 at the Somerville Theater in Somverville, MA with JIm Lauderdale and Kenny Vaughn… These are nice venues as well. From the layout of the emerging tour, we could even be given a Friday or Saturday night gig… I wonder if Kenny would be open to tour with LWs…? I still say bring back Bo or Gurf for a run. I know, how about Slaid Cleaves or even better Tim Easton! Tim is one of the best guitar players in this genre that I have ever seen… And his songwriting prowess is remarkable as well… He is always happy to do a LWs cover during his shows.
December 19, 2010 at 5:02 pm #44849TimParticipantYes DavidinMaine, I like your mentions for opening acts. Tim Easton opened the Lucinda/Doug Pettibone tour in 2006, and came out and played a song or two with LW & Doug. I think he is also managed by Lucinda’s manager so that may be a possiblity.
