ParticipantWith all due respect to the Santa Monica pier venue, you are about right, lwj. Perhaps a companion show at the Fillmore West would be in order for this weekend, even with an admission charge. Frank Riley and High Road in general seem slow to forthcome (if that’s a verb), so perhaps TO can break some October gig news soon.

ParticipantYay.
What a great event this is.
Discovered it a couple years ago (in this forum) when Lu was rumored to be attending, but ultimately did not.I made the trip anyway and was treated to a ton of great music and this is just the excuse I needed to return!
Can’t wait.August 4, 2014 at 9:40 pm #53325tonyg

ParticipantBe careful, tonyg:
“No alcohol will be for sale in the park, however, alcohol is allowed as per park rules: no hard alcohol or glass is allowed; beer and wine in non-glass containers ONLY. Any hard alcohol brought to the festival will be confiscated by SFPD and violators may be subject to fine.”

These libation rules are probably too subtle for tonyg, a man who chugs a six of PBR on any festive occasion, as I recall.

KeymasterGood questions on Pics Mike. When you add a new post, at the bottom of your text box you will see “upload attachment”. That’s where you select your pic.
Avatar pics? maybe someone who has one can tell us how they added it.
P.S. Ooops looks like I have one. I’ll figure it out. ๐

Since the Gremlins invaded the Forum in January the upload attachment feature does not work. You get a big error message in RED
In the user control panel there used to be under profile a feature to add an avatar, now it’s gone, only the edit avatar shows and does not seem to work.I got around this through Tiny Pic to upload pics saved in “My Pictures” in my computer.
Go to Tiny Pic, File: choose file from your computer, select upload now, then you may get a security thingy to type in.
Then, if you are a “righty Mousey” user, right click the code for IMG code Forums once highlited and copy and then hit paste in your forum topic open.
Voila, once you hit preview the pic will appear. Here’s what the screen looks like from Tiny Pic when you are ready to upload.

Hope this helps Samish.
By the way the expert on these technical things is none other then co-moderator tntracy.lwj

ParticipantPerhaps even more astonishing than the cool tat, is the fact that sunshine appears to be shining on it in Seattle! ๐

Image Options
When you click an existing image or upload an image, the image displays on a new page.
What can I do with the code?
There are four different types of source code:
ยท HTML for Websites โ Code that you can use on an HTML page to display your image. The image is also a link to TinyPic.
ยท IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards โ Code that you can use on a forum or message board.
ยท URL for E-mail and IM โ Code you can send in an e-mail or via IM to anyone whom you want to see your image. If your account is Private, this code does not display.
ยท Direct Link for Layouts โ Direct link to the image, if you create your own css or HTML.
Click on the code you want, and the code is automatically copied. Then, paste the code where you want to use it.
Remember once you have uploaded your pic from your computer you have to keep your post open in the Lu forum
and then right click to paste the code.lwj
