Another fine opener whose CD I bought: Lea Klcikhaus (approx name), who weathered an idiot shouting out betweeen songs “Shut Up”in English to deliver about six fine tunes in English, with Dutch intros. She will open again in Utrecht.
With all due respect to trapeze artists and dancing bears and male strippers, this Ooosterport venue in Groningen is booking more relevant acts today than Circus Krone of Munich: Tony Joe White, Over the Rhine, Jimmy LaFave, Luther Dickinson, and Jason Isbell this summer or fall.
