    Get Right with God

This audience came with its requests ready to hand, though there were some late arrivals presumably due to the 49ers’ final throes. It truly was a “funny” and unprecedented thing to see Lu enter stage left and walk across the stage into the wings some 5 minutes before she started. Tour manager Eric Frankenhouser escorted her, then came back to personally supervise the lighting set-up from the front of the stage. Closest thing to that was the “runway” walk-on effect at that night club kind of place in midtown Phoenix.

Blake called “I Just Wanted to See YOu…” a song “cruelly underperformed” and said he was doing it in his opening set “in protest” of this. He nailed it as usual.

May others add to this. . . .

i’d change HONEY BEE for IJWTSYSB in every setlist. same vibe, BETTER song.

really personal P.S.: what can i say? lucinda’s biggest, fastest, frenziest, hormone-addled epic is a fitting song for my month of january. except for all that driving.
