Although it is a bromide, “patience is a virtue” nonetheless might apply here. From a recent (i.e., within the last hour) “Lucinda Management” Facebook post:
Lucinda has asked that we extend this so she can thank everyone who purchased BLESSED. Anyone who signed up before 3/6, your downloads are in process and you will get your email notice soon. New folks after 3/6, will receive their email shortly after 3/20.

P.S. For the record, I have not heard anything regarding the downloads either… 😉
March 8, 2011 at 9:25 pm #46328TOverbyParticipantI will follow up but I was told all of the emails went out as of late last night. Very sorry for the delay -have been a little apprehensive about these getting out.
March 8, 2011 at 9:36 pm #46329tntracyParticipantHmmmm. Well, now I’m the one confused. If the e-mails were to have all gone out last night, why does the FB posting seem to indicate that there are e-mail noticies remaining to go out (i.e., “you will get your e-mail notice soon”)?
I’m not in any rush to get these, mind you, just wondering what the “dealio” is… 😉

March 8, 2011 at 9:41 pm #46330bonesParticipantThere will be a final email sent to you with a link and a verification code to the download site. Some of the delay might be due to their server ability. This download was over 35 meg. Just guessing.
March 8, 2011 at 9:41 pm #46331parkercaParticipantI’m in the same boat Tom. No big rush. I just wanted to make sure I didn’t get lost in the mix.

But the e-mail doesn’t contain the 35 MB of downloads themselves, just the link & verification code, correct? I don’t see the e-mail being delayed by “server availability”. Maybe the downloads themselves, sure… 😉

March 8, 2011 at 9:46 pm #46333bonesParticipantTrue. I see your point but IF you can’t keep up, why send out more verification codes ? But I have no inside information.
March 8, 2011 at 9:48 pm #46334tntracyParticipantNor do I. And, like I said before, I am in no rush to get them. Just curious as to what the actual status is, that’s all. But, knowing TO, we will all find out soon enough, I am sure…

March 8, 2011 at 9:55 pm #46335blureuParticipantRemind me…which show from 2007 are the two live tracks taken from?
March 8, 2011 at 9:56 pm #46336tntracyParticipantHa! Well, I don’t know if the delay was “digital” (as in computer-caused) or “digital” (as in human, i.e., fingers on the keyboard, caused), but the log jam seems to have been removed, at least partially. I just got the link / verification code e-mail…

The “El Rey” full-album shows that were released on CD, IIRC…

March 8, 2011 at 11:50 pm #46338West WordsParticipantMine arrived today at 2:40pm eastern time! Be sure to check your junk mailbox, that’s where I just found mine. I can’t think of anything else that would be further from junk!! ❗ ❗ 😀
March 9, 2011 at 12:43 am #46339spencecbParticipantJust wanted to say thanks for responding, Tom, and don’t stress! I don’t think anyone is mad, just were curious. You do a great job of keeping us informed.
Thanks again!
March 9, 2011 at 12:47 am #46340TOverbyParticipantGreat – really relieved to know they are getting there. Please continue to let me know if you haven’t received them and we will make sure everyone is covered. I was really hoping for this to go off with out a hitch so i’m hoping we’re almost there.
March 9, 2011 at 1:15 am #46341TOverbyParticipantHere is the info on the alt version of Ugly Truth. The version that was sent includes Kris Kristofferson on vocals and the version that was supposed to be sent from the studio out was without Kris. Originally when it was finished it was 50/50 on which track to use but we just thought we’d save the track with Kris for something else. It was a great day when he came into the studio and he adores Lu so I hope you enjoy it.
