Deferring to your “list serve” Vivian: I will supplement when it appears. Meanwhile, grumpy mama and samish might get the ball rolling.

From Lu”s opening remarks “no place I’d rather be” to her opening song number “You don’t Rule Me” It was clear this was going to be a special night. I’ll leave the set list to the pros but highlights for me included (the whole set really) Stand right by each other , East side of town, and Steal your Love as well as the slowed down cover of Peace Love and understanding..
Seemed like an extra long show with very little talk between songs and very little time.. looking forward to tonight !January 22, 2017 at 12:32 am #55542stogerParticipantGuess I;ll have to do it after all

January 22, 2017 at 4:25 am #55544paul_from_losangelesParticipantThank you, stoger, for the setlist. I enjoyed watching the show at home on Facebook. No earplugs needed, no cellphone cameras in my view, and my own snacks and drinks. Getting ready for night #2 on Facebook.
January 22, 2017 at 6:32 am #55545GrumpyMamaParticipantI have to echo Paul’s sentiment as I sit here during Fillmore night 2 watching Stuart KILL it on Come On.
Too sick tonight to go into SF:(
Great to meet Vivian, Roger and Mike last night though.January 23, 2017 at 3:27 am #55546vmorrisParticipantThanks for the set list post, stoger! I was without reasonable internet access as I refused to pay the extortionist wifi fees at my hotel. A few thoughts:
* I loved Lu’s words to open the show, that it was a “heavy night” and she was glad to be at the show because otherwise she “would be sitting in a bar somewhere, but instead WE’RE GONNA F*CKIN’ ROCK!!” And that she did.
* “You Can’t Rule Me” to open was perfection.
* Something was up during the beginning of the set, with Justin and Victor out trying to address some issue for Lu.
* I love love love that Lu is playing the Rose Guitar now!!
* Unsuffer Me –> Essence –> Atonement. This is the ultimate three-in-a-row.
* After Essence, Lu told the audience that “Your presence is a gift.” It was totally mutual.
Wonderful end to a surreal day.
January 24, 2017 at 4:39 am #55547LafayetteParticipantI was able to watch most of the show on this night on FB. Thank you so much for the live feed, Lucinda management and team! Added note, I saw, via comments in the FB feed, west words was watching but missed Paul. Also of note, Rosie Flores was watching as well. Someone commented she was in the house and she replied by saying she was home, watching in bed. Gotta love social media! 😀
Lu’s voice was smooth as silk. The show was so uplifting, and Lu and the boys were definitely in the zone.
Thanks for the reports, ladies and gents!
