Unfortunately the $25 price WAS too good to be true. $60 for in front of the stage. $50 for slightly obscured sight line seats. WAY too much for my blood. Damn. I’d love to see that show.
That’s a “bummer” vinylfan, I can’t find out how to get a $25.00 ticket.
Seems only way to get a discount is to purchase a membership.
It’s a small venue, hence higher prices.

I’m only hoping she comes with band to a venue that they won’t have to escalate ticket prices to make it feasible. I was expecting the Dakota show to be expensive. All shows at this venue are. I was not expecting 60 bucks. It’s all relative. Some don’t think $60 is expensive. As an avid music fan the choice then becomes do I see one show or three or four less expensive shows. I’d like to say that I’m not blaming Lucinda, or any artist for that matter. I’m just frustrated that I won’t be able to attend certain shows and I guess that’s just how it goes.

Already have my ticket for TO (Toronto nickname) TO
Erie, An easy 2 & 1/2 hour drive down I-90 for me to catch my first solo Lu show.
Time to get WebMasta to update the shows page please since the list is really growing.Happy holidays to you and Lucinda.
lwjboo! I’m jealous. I will be in LA during the Erie show and would only be back for the second TO show. Not sure if I’ll be able to make it at this junction but I’ll see. If so, we’ll have to meet up again!
January 3, 2011 at 12:29 pm #44872snakemanParticipantAre these upcomming shows , Lucinda solo or with a band ?
Can’t understand the complaining about the price of tickets at the Dakota.
To see Lucinda perform in a restaurant that holds 245 people, I find $ 50-60 a steal !
What would other artists of her caliber charge ? Wow, for me that’s a $ 100 ticket without a complaint.
Do you expect her to play a 200 seat place for $ 10-20 ?January 3, 2011 at 2:47 pm #44873vinylfanParticipantThe shows are solo up to Toronto. Stated earlier in the thread.
Well, I’m complaining about the ticket price because I can’t afford it. Understand? I couldn’t have made myself
clearer. I blamed no one. I’m the one that doesn’t have the cash. Understand? I stated I knew why the price is what it is. I also stated that it’s all relative and clearly you proved my point. You are willing and more importantly, able, although I don’t know that, to pay 100 bucks for this show. Man, if I had it, I’d pay it. That’s all I’m saying.January 8, 2011 at 12:54 am #44874JimlParticipantIs the Nelsonville, OH show a solo performance?
Thanks.January 8, 2011 at 1:49 am #44875TOverbyParticipantYes-Nelsonville is a solo show. All of the shows before Toronto are solo. Toronto and after are all band shows.

I’m booked into the Chez for one night only myself, but we’ll fight it out for sink space Friday. . . .
January 16, 2011 at 3:00 am #44879LafayetteParticipantVery happy to take your call, tnt, while shopping at Bed, Bath, & Beyond, to book you into Chez Lafayette. So glad you were given a kitchen pass. You & Stoger can now alternate riding shotgun, watching for deer as we head to & from Brown County, IN.
I’ll stock up on wine & chocolates.
January 16, 2011 at 1:28 pm #44880LWjettaParticipantDylan LeBlanc , a young 20 year old from Louisiana is booked to open for Lu as per High Road touring.
Iowa City, Milwaukee, Nelsonville and Ann Arbor are scheduled.
Here is a link to his bio.

Lafayette, make sure you check stoger and tnt’s id’s as the web site says “We welcome children over twelve”
Listen to the birdies. 😆 😆http://chezlafayette.com/information.htm
lwjJanuary 16, 2011 at 4:38 pm #44882LafayetteParticipantlwj ~ The pressure. Chez Lafayette, as I know it, is not nearly as quaint and picturesque as featured on website. We have birds, though, ones that like to perch and nest on a retractable awning over our deck.
Good heads up on opening act.
