I am sure that will happen sometime but probably not this year as we will be supporting the new record.
December 24, 2010 at 4:04 am #44857LWjettaParticipantExcellent news TO

Buskirk Chumley in Bloomington & Stuart’s Opera House in Nelsonville! I’ve been to both theaters, very quaint. I saw JM tape a Live By Request A & E show in Bloomington & saw Stoll with Marty Stuart in Nelsonville. It will be a rocking week for me as I will be returning from a JM show in Philly earlier in the week. I’m so glad these shows are working with my schedule. NOW, need to squeeze a full band show in…

See you in Erie fuji81
Now that the solo shows have been confirmed, I’m opting out of the State Theatre in Ithaca, NY since I’ll see Lu now on March 1st in Erie….. (Hey=It’s record release day for “Blessed” would be Kool if Lu’s tour bus brings along a good supply of the new record and she hangs around the merchandise table in the lobby after the show to sign the CD’s) plus seeing her on March 4th in Toronto with the full band.
I already have my ticket for Lu and Levon.TO, any word yet on the full band beside’s Butch and David ?

December 29, 2010 at 1:55 pm #44861snakemanParticipantFYI……… Dakota Jazz Club in Minneapoilis has a different artist listed for Feb. 21st, not Lucinda ??
December 29, 2010 at 3:33 pm #44862padchioParticipantTom O – shame about no Euro tour in 2011, we’re gonna miss seeing you all. Probably too early for you to say right now, but is there any chance of festival slots in the UK next year?

Both Sunday the 20th and Monday the 21st look open to me, Snakeman, on the Dakota website calendar. You didn’t peek at January by mistake? Now that Nellie McKay is alright, I’ve seen her live in fact, but not quite worth a mid-January jaunt to a cold land. . . .
December 30, 2010 at 9:47 pm #44864Disco StuParticipantHey Tom…you mean the Englert Theatre in Iowa City, IA, correct? That’s the Englert Theatre Lu’s played at before (I think in ’08 if I remember correctly), and a quick Google search didn’t turn up any listing of a theatre by the same name in Des Moines.

December 31, 2010 at 2:07 pm #44866vinylfanParticipantAnyone have any idea how much the Dakota shows will go for? The paper says $50. The Dakota’s website says $25 – $60. One show a night or two? Two is typical for this type of event but it doesn’t seem likely. Sure hope I can score a couple for $25 as I can’t afford $50. I’ll find out at 10 am C.S.T. And, will she be coming to a less expensive venue in Minneapolis sometime on the full band tour? Thanks.
December 31, 2010 at 11:05 pm #44867vinylfanParticipantUnfortunately the $25 price WAS too good to be true. $60 for in front of the stage. $50 for slightly obscured sight line seats. WAY too much for my blood. Damn. I’d love to see that show.
