Somewhere in here I saw a message from Inside Job, sometimes know as TomOverby (when he’s pissed or talking about the Spam museum in his home town) about a fall tour starting in the South in the third week of September.

Well I’ve not seen any news about it, or a schedule, or ticket availability. Will there be an early ticket pre-sale. In a few blinks of the eye we will be a month a way from that time. Has the tour been pushed out to coincide with the October Album release?

Let us know when we should expect to be able to see the tour schedule and buy tickets.

Oh yeah – and please bing Lu and Buick 6 back to Cincinnati. I’m sure you saw how attentive the fans were there. The Taft would be the nicest place to see her, an beautiful old theater built almost two centuries ago, but if you don’t like dealing with Live Nation, the 20th Century or Madison are good small theaters.

or if you think you need more seating:

You took the words right out of my mouth, stevarino, for a plea to book Cincinnati as well as suggestions for the venues! Music Hall would be an awesome venue, too. Is Tall Stacks 2004 the last time she came thru this area as a headliner?

I also know a certain public radio station that would love to have her stop by the studio for an On Air.

    Lafayette,

I’m so sorry I forgot Music Hall in Cincinnati. It’s a beautiful 130 year old theater with acoustics that get very high ratings from all the Orchestras, Opera, and Ballet companies that perform there. Don’t laugh, but I actually saw Ray and Dave Davies there in the late seventies when I was in High School. We rushed the stage and I was able to touch Dave Davies Guitar.

L-O-L-A Lola, lo lo lo lo LOLA

LOL – That’s the last rock and roll concert I saw there so they may not be booking rock act’s, but if TO can do it, that would be awesome.

Has the Aronoff Center for the Porfrming Arts ever had a Rock Band perform there? I’ve taken my kids to a few Disney Musicals there which were amazing. Uh, oh, I’m feeling like I’m going to get slammed for taking my kids to a Disney production – ha ha. But the theater is an awesome place this state legislator brought to out town and named after himself.

ok stevarino, we will give you one pass on speaking of the “Amazing Disney Musicals”. One more mention of them and there will be consequences 😀

HA! Disney fills this household. I even went to two Hanna Montana concerts *gasps* last fall with my 9 year old. We just returned from a week of hanging with Mickey and friends in FL.

Whatever it takes, I hope Lu comes thru this area again, this time, to promote her new record.

yup, I’d LOVE for her to play the “blue door”. It would be about 100 people at full capacity. How cool would that be?
