As soon as more shows are posted and I can see for sure that she’s not going to be anywhere near the Midwest on the weekend of the October 10th and 11th (when I’m getting married :)), I can breathe a huge sigh of relief. I’m guessing I’m in the clear if she’s in NY on the 8th. But I’m looking forward to catching at least a couple shows later in the fall…

Given the open dates around the Poughkeepsie & Providence shows, I think the probability is very high. Stay tuned… 😉

Coy finessing of the NYC issue, Tntracy. . . When do you think some official pronouncement might be forthcoming?

Unless you’ve heard something I haven’t, stoger, that remains unknown at this point. But I imagine it will be soon, don’t you?

I saw Lucinda there in 2007, Tom. The Carolina Theatre is a beautiful venue.
Yep, that was the Viet Nam vet “Roger” show. Three of the “Lu in 08” songs were recorded that night Tim.
July 14, 2009 at 5:52 am #40009paul_from_losangelesParticipantGlancing at High Road Touring, I notice a new date on September 30 in Wilmington, Delaware. Also, the previous date for October 1 at the Count Basie Theatre in New Jersey has quietly disappeared. We now have a 1-week gap along I-95 between Wilmington and Providence. Lots of geography to speculate…

Speculate no more! HRT has added several new shows, including two 3-night stands – one in New York & one in Chicago!
Here is the latest list:
Tue Aug 18 ’09 (7:30PM), Los Angeles, CA, Greek Theatre w/ Elvis Costello
Sat Aug 29 ’09 (7:30PM), Stateline, NV, Harrah’s Tahoe South Shore Room
Sun Aug 30 ’09 (12 PM), San Francisco, CA, Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival at Golden Gate Park Polo Field
Fri Sep 25 ’09, Greensboro, NC, Carolina Theatre
Sat Sep 26 ’09 (7:00PM), Charlottesville, VA, Charlottesville Pavilion
Sun Sep 27 ’09 (6:00PM), Norfolk, VA, Town Point Park
Tue Sep 29 ’09, Baltimore, MD, Ram’s Head Live
Wed Sep 30 ’09 (8:00PM), Wilmington, DE, Grand Opera House
Sat Oct 3 ’09 (8:00PM), New York, NY, The Fillmore at Irving Plaza
Sun Oct 4 ’09 (8:00PM), New York, NY, The Fillmore at Irving Plaza
Mon Oct 5 ’09 (8:00PM), New York, NY, The Fillmore at Irving Plaza
Wed Oct 7 ’09, Providence, RI, Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel
Thu Oct 8 ’09, Poughkeepsie, NY, Bardavon 1869 Opera House
Sat Oct 10 ’09, Vancouver, Queen Elizabeth Theatre
Sun Oct 11 ’09 Vancouver, Queen Elizabeth Theatre
Tue Oct 13 ’09 (7:30PM), Chicago, IL, Park West
Wed Oct 14 ’09 (7:30PM), Chicago, IL, Park West
Thu Oct 15 ’09 (7:30PM), Chicago, IL, Park WestThere is also a 2-night stand in Vancouver listed, but I’m betting it is a typo – according to Google, there is also a Queen Elizabeth Theater in Toronto, and 2 nights in Toronto between Poughkeepsie & Chicago makes a lot more geographic sense than going all the way to Vancouver, BC between the two…
