Experience Track 29.
Why, yes – I think I will do just that! 😆
Tom
I do believe the four horsemen will be saddling up for Chattanooga.
August 19, 2011 at 9:15 pm #47910TOverbyParticipantSo as I stated yesterday some of the dates were tentative and I just got the first change to what I listed yesterday. The 10/26 show will now be Baltimore at the Ram’s Head instead of Norfolk. I am going to edit my earlier post to reflect that. I hope I didn’t jump the gun by posting those tentative dates yesterday, I apologize for any inconvenience.

Thanks for monitoring and updating this, Tom: you’re making it more than convenient to plan ahead.

Can you say “cancelclass”?
Signed, One Who Has Done It
Hmmmm … That is a good idea. Except isn’t that near mid-term? Man, maybe we can have a class trip instead …
August 21, 2011 at 8:57 am #47916bootsParticipantWoo Hoo!
I loved the Macon concert and was hoping she would come to Atlanta. I hope Athens is a go. My birthday is that week. Might even have a place to spend the night so I can have a cocktail, or two, or three…
I was in the last group that did not get to meet Lucinda after the concert, Lucinda was beat after that long tour. So maybe I will get my chance in Athens. We did talk to David Sutton after the show, and he is a sweetheart.
By the way, thanks to Kristin at the Cox Capital for the autographed Poster of Lucinda. It was nice of her to find us before we left the theater and give several of us posters.
August 21, 2011 at 4:42 pm #47917musicloverParticipantGetting excited about the second leg of the tour. Hoping the tentative Sunday night date at Alys Robinson takes place. Just saw Steve Earle there and enjoyed the show & the venue. Lucinda needs some new t-shirts at the tables. i’ve got tix to see Peter Frampton perform Frampton Comes Aliv in Nashville so the Chatt. show is out. Wish i had known.
August 22, 2011 at 10:15 pm #47918paul_from_losangelesParticipantThe website http://www.gruenemusicandwinefest.org/friday.html has new details for Lu’s October 7 show. Tickets on-sale September 6.
For only the band show after 9 PM: $40
For the private show and dinner + the band show: $75 for general admission area;
for tables of 4 through 10 guests, $500 to $1500 per table.
See the table map, and the general admission zone on the website.August 23, 2011 at 4:48 am #47919Los DoyersParticipant@paul_from_losangeles wrote:

That looks interesting. I’m going to be there and in DFW the next night….can’t wait. Would there be a way for us to get tickets in a presale for both Gruene shows?
August 23, 2011 at 1:23 pm #47920toporunnerParticipanthey Tom ,is Birmingham a go yet ? i see it’s tenative ,as is Chattanooga….just wanting to make plans since i live inbetween both. i checked out Track 29 in Chattanooga and from what i understand it’s all standing ,no seating. that puts a strain on an old guy like me ,lol. also ,wish she was doing Birmingham Theatre again ,it’s second only to Bijou Theatre in Knoxville ,thx again Tom.
August 23, 2011 at 6:59 pm #47921TOverbyParticipantChattanooga was confirmed this morning. Not sure if there is any seating there but I can find out. Will have Birmingham answer by tomorrow.

Who is Frank?August 24, 2011 at 12:59 am #47924TOverbyParticipantFrank is Lucinda’s booking agent. There are few shows that we are trying to figure out in the south in mid Oct and some of the dates hinge on what is in front of or after them, but yes we are looking at Savannah as one of the possibilities.
August 24, 2011 at 1:09 am #47925TOverbyParticipantOn a related note several more shows were confirmed today. Presales coming soon. They are:
10/20 -Ft. Lauderdale –Broward Center (first appearance in So. Fla. in 10+ years)
10/22 -Chattanooga, TN –Track 29
10/24 -Athens GA –Georgia Theatre (completely rebuilt after last year’s fire -just reopened a few days ago and it looks like a fantastic new venue)
11/1 -Ridgefield, CT –Ridgefield Playhouse
11/2 -Burlington, VT –Flynn CtrI will edit the original email above to reflect these shows>
