The ticketing engine allows you to select your own seat.
Be aware the E-Mail receipt system is not working properly. You may need to call the box office to obtain your confirmation code. From the USA, the calling digits are:
011-44-161-907-9000.
Cheers–Paul, were you able to choose a single seat and purchase? There’s some problem with the security of the whole Bridgewater web site now–and I’ve tried it from two different computers. When it comes time to select a seat, a security command about improper link to access system or some such appears; I can proceed, but not to the pick a seat feature. I can click on “best seat available” chosen for me and maybe purchase, but this put me in Stall K; the one time I got in to look at the chart, five seats on row A were available. I got kicked out of the system before I could buy, though. Could some computer guru among our friendly Forum go to the bridgewater site and see what the issue is, whether you can pick a seat? I’m stymied.
April 1, 2009 at 8:08 pm #39145paul_from_losangelesParticipantYesterday, I think I purchased a single ticket for Manchester with “pick your own seat”. However, I did not receive an EMail receipt. This morning, I spoke by phone with the box office, and they indicated their EMail system is down, and they told me my order number, and confirmed the purchase for pickup at the box office. (There was no option offered for mail or home-print.) So far, I have not seen the money debited against my credit card. Just now, in response to your note, I attempted a dummy booking with “pick your own seat”, and the system functioned properly up to the screen where I would login with my name; I then stopped and removed the order. I saw no errors up to that step. Maybe, someone else can help.
April 1, 2009 at 8:27 pm #39146stogerParticipantThanks, Paul: I’ll try again, and I’m sure I’ll see the back of your head in the distance from my eventual Manchester seat.
April 2, 2009 at 7:36 am #39147SMParticipantI booked online at seetickets.com. The process was very easy and the ‘best available’ were row D in the stalls, which I was happy with.
Looking forward to a great show. I saw her in Sheffield in 2007 and it’s very good news that she’s coming back so soon.
April 2, 2009 at 9:25 am #39148DebsParticipantIve just booked my row B tickets for Manchester and its my Birthday Today 😀 .PERFECT ! Oh HappyDay.
April 2, 2009 at 10:32 am #39149andymatParticipantLu is confirmed for the Cambridge Folk Festival ..looks like 2nd August.
Those nice people at Cambridge have made her the headliner… Tickets go on sale in MayApril 2, 2009 at 3:10 pm #39150Ronny ZamoraParticipantYesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!
Just got my tickets for Manchester – last two, front row stalls – how good is that?Had to make a 500 mile round trip to London in 2007 – this time it will be 20 mins along the East Lancashire Road!
My gig calendar was looking prety sparse after last year (Neil, Steve Earle and John Fogerty amongst many others) – now I can add Lu to Morrissey, Lynyrd Skynyrd and CSN – and all within 30 minute drives.
Thanks so much for this!
April 2, 2009 at 4:31 pm #39151stogerParticipantD-18 in stalls, everybody. Not too shabby, though still to back skull of Paul et. al. Thanks for the seetickets.com link, which trumps the venue link by miles. And now to research those Kentucky and Missouri shows. . .
April 3, 2009 at 10:13 pm #39152stogerParticipantI cross-posted this under the Santa Fe stream, but http://www.tickets.com is listing and selling a July 11 show in Belgium.
April 4, 2009 at 6:20 am #39153dr winston oboogieParticipantManchester and Cambridge, is that it for the UK this summer guys ???
April 4, 2009 at 5:22 pm #39154stogerParticipantI have it on pretty good authority, Dr. W, that London will be in the mix. Whether that’s before or after the Cambridge Folk Fest, I’m not quite clear. INdigo2 again perhaps? Nice small house. Two nights running would be divine.
April 4, 2009 at 8:28 pm #39155dr winston oboogieParticipantThanks for the info stoger, present dates and locations very difficult for me, London after Cambridge, although not ideal would probably suit best, or even better, Scotland anytime, anywhere.

BerlingirlTickets on sale for Berlin yet? Venue? Any specifics would be appreciated. It sounds a bit earlier than the projected European debut (finding an acceptable tour bus was part of the issue I think), but maybe it’s so. I believe there might be a July 4 festival somewhere (Scandanavia?).
April 6, 2009 at 9:03 pm #39126paul_from_losangelesParticipantIf you visit http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk
and search for Lucinda Williams, you can find a Hamburg show on July 7, and a Berlin show on July 8 (note the dd/mm/yy format). The Berlin link specifies Lucinda as the opening act:Lucinda Williams on stage: 18:00 Uhr
Lambchop on stage: 19:30 Uhr
Calexico on stage: 21:00 Uhr
Curfew: 22:00 UhrI’m still waiting for London…
