Just wanted to give the LA locals a heads up that this should be a fun night. Elvis is only doing a few shows in support of his new record Secret Profane And Sugarcane which is mostly acoustic, so when he called Lucinda back a couple of months ago, he asked her if she could do this show and also do it as a more stripped down set. Obviously she said yes, so her set Tuesday will also be quite different than recent shows. In fact, Mr. Schermerhorn had a previous commitment so the band will be just Chet, David and Butch.
Given that Elvis’ band also features Jim Lauderdale, who has sung on nearly every Lucinda record, I think its safe to say there will be some collaborating happening. Lucinda is really looking forward to it. Should be great.
I almost forgot – but I have heard that there may be some discounted tickets available also.Well there are no good seats left, only section C, otherwise I would consider it. I’m not sure what Tom meant by discounted tickets available. Does anyone wanna go? Paul?
I heard the discounted tix were available thru goldstar.com -bu I will look into that. When I checked on tickets Sat. there were some tickets left in the North Terrace towards the front -they were in the 2nd pricing level ($57)

This is one show i would love to see! Saw Elvis in April and of course Lu in July X2 .Could someone please post some pics,movement or sound.I would love to see it.. 🙂

Also-just heard a rumor that T-Bone Burnett is going to play with Elvis =going to be a good night
