I cannot comment on the NYC gigs. BUT as a New Yorker who did attend one of the El Rey gigs I purchased the complete set of cds. Amazing stuff.
I don’t think you can go wrong with Lu. BUT remember, its very loose. Not like the Fillmore album at all. These albums are warts an all.I can’t wait to see Lu again!
