Great show at a festival in Eindhoven last night. Only didn’t like it that so many people left the venue during the show. Great accoustics, Lu her voice was outstanding and great guitar playing from her buddy:

Good work Kees–we should mention that this was officially The Naked Song Festival (try flashing that ticket stub around your office water cooler soon). Yes, folks walked out. I did appreciate the small “dancing” area in front of row one, though I chose to sit (yes, in row one). And from now on I address Stuart as “buddy,” for sure for sure.
I failed to mention that Matt Blake opened in London and will again in Paris. This is a man who doesn’t fool, obviously, with provincial capitals or second tier cities. Rome, Mr. Blake?
Not much to add to the listing. Perhaps because of curfew memories from the UK, Lu said little. Eleven and fourteen were granted requests, odd for our Lu these days. First time Essence was a duo–she claimed she liked it, and it did sound fine.
Lu as a non-headliner? I fled the premises quicker even than UnionCurfewChapel, but a fine evening. Very light outdoors at 21:20. Dirk D again at 20:00 sharp tonight.
